IS-1 Russian Tank (printed)

This is a highly detailed 3D model of a battle damaged IS-1 Russian Tank modelled by 3D fortress, prepared and distributed under license by Digital Taxidermy


In March 1943, an order specified the rearming of all frontline tanks. One of the guns intended for this was an AA gun roughly similar in performance to the German 88 mm (3.46 in), of which one had been disabled, captured and the gun analysed. This resulted in the stopgap KV-85 heavy tank, only produced in limited numbers (143 machines). This vehicle set the tone for further improvements, being the basis of the long “Iosif Stalin” series. The KV-85 turret was brand new, well adapted to the new gun designs. It could hold three men, but the hull remained basically the same KV-1 flat-armored hull first designed for the multi-turreted SMK back in 1939.

This WW2 Gaming Model is printed on FDM 3D printers in our workshop. The model is printed with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height for best results.

This Wargaming 3D model is designed for 28mm WW2 tabletop gaming and takes an approximate base scale of 1/50.

Please allow 5-10 days for the model to produce, this time depends on the scale of the model, the size of the order and the current workload. While we ask you to allow this time we will attempt to get the order out within a couple of days.
