Kitchen Building - Merville Battery - STL

The Battle of Merville Gun Battery occurred on 6 June 1944, as part of Operation Tonga, part of the Normandy landings, during the Second World War. Allied intelligence believed the Merville Gun Battery was composed of heavy-calibre guns that could threaten the British landings at Sword Beach, only 8 miles (13 km) away.

The Merville Battery was staffed by a large number of German soldiers and all these soldiers need to eat, this is a Kitchen bunker that sat roughly in the middle of the site, a small concrete structure it had a 20mm AA gun mounted on its roof.

This STL file is designed for FDM Printers and print with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height.

Supports are not needed for this model. At larger scales these bunkers may become larger than more common build-plate sizes, you may need to cut them into sections for your machine. Please check the size below.

This model has been split and jointed to fit standard build plates at 15mm scale.

The printed model measures approx.:

158mm x 108mm x 53mm @28mm Scale

103mm x 71mm x 34mm @00 Railway scale

79mm x 54mm x 26mm @15mm scale

We have a handy calculator for resizing files for 3D printing over at scale-converters

It is designed for 28mm table top games set in WW2 such as:

Bolt Action, Chain of Command and Konflikt ’47. It can also be used in games such as Judge Dredd, Necromunda and Fallout Wasteland.
