Regelbau R669 - Merville Battery Artillery Gun Casement - STL

The Battle of Merville Gun Battery occurred on 6 June 1944, as part of Operation Tonga, part of the Normandy landings, during the Second World War. Allied intelligence believed the Merville Gun Battery was composed of heavy-calibre guns that could threaten the British landings at Sword Beach, only 8 miles (13 km) away.

The Regelbau 669 Casemate is one of three types of casemate present at the Merville Battery in Normandy on June 6th, 1944. This is a non standard pattern of the R669. At Merville these bunkers were built with rear winds and the flanking shields at the front of the casemate. This casemate housed a 10.5cm LeFH 14/19(f) gun.

This STL file is designed for FDM Printers and print with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height.

Supports are not needed for this model. At larger scales these bunkers may become larger than more common build-plate sizes, you may need to cut them into sections for your machine. Please check the size below.

The printed model measures approx.:
