Description
DARDIS – Dalek Time Machine – Sci-fi – 3D Printed Model
The first Dalek time machine was believed by the Time Lords to have been specifically developed to neutralise the threat posed by Doctor Who, and that it used stolen Time Lord technology. Powered by Taranium, the time machine was roughly comparable in abilities to a Time Lord TARDIS, being dimensionally transcendent, and was created for the express purpose of chasing the First Doctor through time and space. After the Daleks piloting it were destroyed battling Mechanoids on Mechanus, the machine was used by the Doctor’s companions Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright to return home. At first the Doctor refused, insisting it was too dangerous but he changed his mind. The Doctor instructed the pair to set the ship for self-destruction after it had transported them to London on 26 June 1965. The loss of the first time machine was a severely crippled Dalek research into time travel, with all the Daleks’ taranium supply having been consumed in the failed pursuit.

Production and shipping.
All our models are printed to order. Printing is usually completed within a few days, but bulk orders and large models may take longer to print. During busy periods, it can take up to 10 days to dispatch orders, but this uncommon.
Models are printed and shipped in from the UK.
We 3D print our models with a high-quality resin which precisely replicates fine details. The resin is ?ABS-like? which means it is less fragile and has little bit of flex. Once printed, models are then cleaned and have support material removed. A small amount of support material may remail on the model, but this can be removed with a craft knife or clippers. The models are usually printed hollow. |
