Description
Dr Who – Keller Machine Sci-fi – 3D Printed Model
In the machine’s core was a living organism, a psychic parasite. It was designed to extract from human brains the negative impulses that caused anti-social behaviour, and was therefore a more humane alternative to executing criminals. It could also be used to kill by turning the victim’s worst fears against them.
After being used to process 112 cases in Switzerland, Professor Keller, with the assistance of Professor Kettering, had it installed in Stangmoor Prison. Its subsequent use on George Patrick Barnham was witnessed by several people, including the Third Doctor, Jo Grant, Arthur Linwood, (TV: The Mind of Evil) and James Stevens. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy) It went on to kill Linwood through his fear of rats, and Kettering through his fear of drowning; and almost killed the Doctor through his fear of fire, recently acquired on a trip to a parallel Earth destroyed in a flaming holocaust. The Master used it to disrupt the World Peace Conference, hoping to cause World War III. Chin Lee used a telepathic amplifier to enable the machine to work on Senator Alcott, who was nearly killed by his fear of the Chinese before the Doctor stopped her.
This 3D design is an item of memorabillia from classic Dr Who and fits with miniatures and display models.
This is a Multi-part model.

Production and shipping.
All our models are printed to order. Printing is usually completed within a few days, but bulk orders and large models may take longer to print. During busy periods, it can take up to 10 days to dispatch orders, but this uncommon.
Models are printed and shipped in from the UK.
We 3D print our models with a high-quality resin which precisely replicates fine details. The resin is ?ABS-like? which means it is less fragile and has little bit of flex. Once printed, models are then cleaned and have support material removed. A small amount of support material may remail on the model, but this can be removed with a craft knife or clippers. The models are usually printed hollow. |
